Author’s Notes: This story is fordinky_di_1who made the winning icon in the Gibbs/Tony BDSM category. I had the idea for this story almost as soon as I saw this icon – but I knew it’d end up long, so I tried to think of something else. But in the end I gave in and went with my original idea, which is why it’s a tad longer than the other winning fics. It’s just what came to mind.
This story is set in the 24/7 universe featured in my story Two Masters , where Tony is Gibbs’s 24/7 sub. It’s set several months after the events featured in that story, so Tony and Gibbs are now settled into their relationship and it has evolved. You don't have to have read 24/7 or Two Masters to read and enjoy this story.

Author’s Notes: tejas  dared me to write a story with this title, so I did *g*. My aim was to come up with a story that made sense of their massive 10 year canon in a slashy way, covering the highs and lows over the years and making sense of those pesky canon love interests along the way! Author’s Notes: Here is this year’s Xanthe Christmas fic offering. It’s long, snowy, angsty and schmoopy, and it is my Christmas present to all you kind people who have left me so much lovely feedback to my stories during the year. Thank you so much!

Summary: Gibbs has left NCIS and is living in a remote cabin on a snowy mountainside. But what secret is he hiding in his isolated hideaway?

Extract: He places a finger against Tony’s neck and feels a faint, erratic pulse. Then he hears a rattling sound and watches as Tony struggles to take a breath; his lungs must be giving up. His chest falls, and there's a long pause – too long – before it rises again.

A rasping sound fills the air as Tony tries to take another breath…and fails. His chest stays still. Unmoving.
