First off - a big thank you with sparkly neon letters to everyone who nominated me for the NCIS Awards! I was really thrilled to get so many nominations. Squee!

Damage was nominated for Best Angst and Best Romance in the Tony/Gibbs category
Andy was nominated for Best Angst and Best Romance in the Tony/Gibbs category.
Ten Years On was nominated for Best What If? in the Tony/Gibbs category
Boats was nominated for Best Post Ep/Missing Scene award in the Tony/Gibbs category
Hiding in Plain Sight was nominated for Best AU in the Tony/Gibbs category and in the "Other" category in the Crossovers Section
Tony's Dry Spell was nominated for Best Humour in the Tony/Gibbs category
The One Where Tony and Tim Read Fanfiction was nominated for Best Humour in the Gen category.

I love how well run and friendly these awards are. I also love that I know so many of the nominated stories and authors - there are some great stories up there. Voting has begun and continues until August 15th. Make sure you read the rules first!

Ooh, and Hiding in Plain Sight has also been nominated in the fabulous Stargate Fan Awards in the best crossover/fanfiction/slash category. Thank you to whoever nominated HiPS over there too :-). Voting closes in 14 days over there.

Congrats! it's so refreshing to see an awards that is friendly and sensible. Good luck! I'll be over there voting and hopefully reading some more NCIS fanfic. Lord knows that I'll need some cheering up as Torchwood S3 starts on Monday (and of course I'm already spoiled)

Thanks Diana! The stories are *great*. I recognise several of them which I don't always do in awards (rarely did in SGA). And the organisers have been very classy and friendly from the beginning. I've had some very varying experiences with different awards and this is one of the best. The big SG awards are very well done too - they've also been very nice and friendly, unlike some awards. Plus everything is very snazzy and hi-tech over there *g*.

As for Torchwood - well, brace yourself. I rather wish I hadn't watched it although it was very good in so many ways. You'll be loving it through eps 1-3 but after that - eep!

Yeah, I know. At least I won't be blind-sided like you guys were last week since I was accidentally spoiled and know what's coming. I've already decided that it's AU, that Jack and the MacLeod boys were all smokin' that wacky weed, with CoE and Highlander 2, 4 & 5 as a result.

LOL! It's a good explanation. Also works for 2nd half of S6 of NCIS. Ick. And last half of S5 of SGA *g*. We can use it to explain all the bad stuff away!
