I must be the most obnoxious feedback giver ever, I think I left you an essay about Chapter 9! I'll try to keep this bit shorter.
First off let me say that I adored the apology and subsequent interaction between the Rodneys. Because I think our Rodney was very in character here, he does 'fess up to his mistakes, and I could totally see him seeking out the other Rodney to make amends. oh, and I don't think I mentioned this in the last chapter, but I loved the idea of two very angry very awkward Rodneys flapping at each other in their attempt to fight.
"It's just that nobody was ever that nice to you so you never got into the habit of being nice back," the other man continued. *wibble*
"Really?" he whispered. "I mean, I kind of always thought so but when the rest of the world keeps on knocking you back you have to wonder."
"Oh no. We're hot," his counterpart told him confidently. "The other night when I was dressed in that outfit John got for me – I could have had half the room if I'd wanted." oh yeah, half the room and all the fangirls!
also, I'm really glad that you have both the Rodneys realizing how much they value Radek.
He wasn't entirely sure he understood it, but there was something exotic and beautiful about it all the same. oh me too, me too.
I didn't want to quote it all, but the entire "date scene" with Rodney and John was just perfect...especially John putting his hands over Rodney's to work the controls. and then John taking them underwater, that's about the most romantic thing ever! and then Rodney wondered if he was going to kiss him, and he had absolutely no idea how he felt about that happening, but instead John reached out a finger and touched the cut. *shivers*
and as for the rest of this chapter *shakes fist* OMGWTF!!! just when things were settling down and then the Rodneys get sucked into another universe. *cries* To quote John, "I just never see this coming." You have truly outdone yourself with this little plot twist. And as it's 12:30 am here...which I calculate to be 6:30 am your time, I'm mightily tempted to stay up and see if the next post comes up...if only I didn't have that pesky job. *g*
