LOL re 24/7. I don't think our John and Rodney are quite in that headspace yet *g*. John does redeem himself in the next chapter though.
So glad you liked the Star Trek line - Flying North first came up with those TV shows and I played with the idea a bit more - that was such fun to do *g*. Kirk would SO be Spock's sub in the AU version of that show *g*.
