I actually did think about a goat for Kate, but my mind got stuck on the miniature angora goat my sister had for awhile and that just didn't work, so I moved on.
And squirrel works for many of the same reasons I listed for the hunting dogs, but is maybe a bit to flighty for our staid Tim. On the other hand, maybe that's the side of him he keeps hidden, like Tony.
