My favorite number has always been 4. Seems I share it with Tony. Glad you mentioned that "Probie." thing. (I've never hated Mike Franks - I've always felt he was a good contrast and comparison and necessity to Gibbs. I know some hate him - I appreciate him.) Good that Gibbs showed Tony his new rule. Lines, coz I have that habit: "...We all have crap in our pasts, Jethro - yeah, yours is worse than most, but you've let it define you for too long. Move on." That one and this one: "Tony's rule number three - never give up on Gibbs, no matter how much he pisses you off." (three is my second favorite number.) "He always will." Ok, that one too. But my absolute favorite, and no head-slapping allowed, is "I'm better than you deserve." coz this line shows that, even as he is making Gibbs "grow up" Tony is finally seeing his own worth, and growing up with him. Way to grow, Tony.
