Thank you so much. This story was *driven* by my need to make sense of what they're doing to poor Tony. I agree with you - they've forgotten he's a multi-layered character and are stagnating him into the role of one-dimensional joker and whipping boy and it's so frustrating to long term viewers who know and love the character.
