This makes me want to just give up writing forever and worship at your altar.
I don't know if I've ever told you this before, and I'm pretty sure other people have told you, but you have such a knack for creating totally new universes that are just so natural - I read these little details, and I take everything in stride. Nothing is forced, and nothing strikes me as odd or out of the ordinary - it just is, if that makes any sense. I'm so envious of that talent!
I absolutely loved Tony putting that first so-called "top" in his place after their one night stand - that's the Tony that I know and love, and who doesn't take any shit. And Gibbs! Gibbs is smiley and laughing! It reminds me of JAG/Season 1 Gibbs, whom I terribly miss. It's got that definite feel that the show used to have - and that's amazing, since it's set in such a different universe. I love that!
And I LOVED Tony's interview. Nothing I can say about that, other than it was awesome. And heeeeeeee! Gibbs created the headslaps especially for Tony! *dances* It reminds me of how MH always says how those slaps started - that it was a spur-of-the-moment thing, and that it just seemed like the right thing to do at the time! Hee!
Gibbs reminiscing about Shannon, and when he first collared her... I admit, that made me cry. And then you snuck Joanne in there! I could totally her saying those lines, and that whole conversation was just so poignant. I really felt for them both.
And then Tony's conversation with Abby had me LOLing - until the end, when Abby brought up Tony's memories of his last top. *sighs and pets Tony*
The whole fight scene at the warehouse was epic (heh - Gibbs bending the rules to look in the crates *snort*). I knew Tony would be saving Gibbs' ass at one point. *bg* And because of that, Abby automatically loves him now (and is forcing him to go see Phantom of the Opera with her as a punishment reward, LOL!).
I loved every bit of this! I can't wait for the next part tomorrow! *bounces*
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention:
I love that Ducky's a switch. I can't really see him as being exclusively a top or a sub - being a switch suits him perfectly. *bg*
And Tom's a sub! I love that! I giggled when Gibbs was remembering how Tom doesn't tolerate tops trying to undermine his authority... and that at home, he's a pussycat with his wife. I find that it isn't hard for me to imagine him in that dynamic - it makes me ridiculously happy, for some reason! (And it makes me miss him, bah!)
