Argh - sorry it's taken me so long to review! I only just finished reading the last bit today - had to get in the right frame of mind. ;-)
BUT THIS. THIS WAS BRILLIANT. *flails*
There are so many good parts (ie - all of them). There wasn't a bit of this fic that I didn't like. Sure, there were bits that had me yelling at the screen, and crying out in frustration/anger/outrage, and just plain crying, and gasping, and stomping my feet and pitching a fit - but I assure you, these are all good reactions. *g*
Tony finally opening up to Gibbs was heartbreaking, but the aftermath was just so heartwarming. You just keep making their interactions better and better - with Gibbs understanding Tony and learning what his needs are, what does and doesn't work with him - it's great.
And we finally got to see what those stupid calls were really all about - but I wanted to yell at Tony for going to get beat up like that... but then Gibbs would break my spine.
Tony and Walter fangirling over shopping was hilarious - one of my favorite parts.
I loved Gibbs meeting with DiNozzo Sr. - it makes me wish that it would happen on the show. They don't even have to make Gibbs and Tony have a D/s relationship (*sigh*) - I just want to meet DiNozzo Sr., and have Gibbs chew him out. I want more protective!Gibbs! *g*
Gibbs afterward was even better - showing Tony that he really loved him. *happysigh*
And then the party at the end! I couldn't stop laughing! AND GIBBS IN THOSE LEATHER PANTS AND PURPLE SHIRT. HOLY BLEEDING HELL, WOMAN. *dies of overload*
I demand that he wear that outfit on the show. Now. plzkthnksbai.
And there are a lot more bits and parts (again - all of them), but my brain is kind of fried and mushy (at the same time - it's weird, really), and I can't think of any more. But - this entire story was wonderful. Seriously wonderful. I thank you for writing it and sharing it with us! *hugs*
