I love the way you wrote Tony as off-balance, with all the small gestures, the sounds and his coping mechanisms. It's so delicately done, and you know that Tony at home - his internal conversation full of self-diagnosis on the run - is one of my absolute favourite parts. Poor Tony! Love that line about might have to stay in the shower for a while. Not sure I can explain why, but it just hits me every time. Something to do with how Tony is so exposed and struggling to keep it all together ...
I love the way Tony talks about 'it' to Gibbs, not yet having admitted anything - partly because it speaks to how smart Tony is to realise Gibbs is smart enough to have figured it out with nothing yet being said, and also because it gives him such vulnerability and I just want Gibbs to hold him and pet him.
I love how you balance aspects of Gibbs - his being gentle with Tony, but like a rottweiler on the case.
