I stayed up too late on the off chance you posted... then you did... then I stayed up too late reading!!!
But... wow... The way you set the story up. The way Tony's inner-thinking is going. The way Gibbs figured out the boy in the picture. Wow...
The "blanking out" moment at the end of this part was very real. And the fact that Tony realized he blanked out.
I'm already getting shivers from this story and this is just the first part. I'm afraid what I'll find as I keep reading... but at the same time I want to keep reading more than ever.
Now I must run to bed so I'm halfway decent at work tomorrow.
