Sorry I have left my feedback as a oner. Its just that I have read the story as a whole over 2 days and didn't really want to leave feedback after each chapter.
I so enjoyed this story. As someone who enjoys both NCIS and SGA I really felt that you had the characterisation exactly right. In fact as I read this I could hear the characters speaking in their own voices.
I would also say that, although I know next to nothing of the Sub/Dom culture there was nothing in the story that made me feel that it was totally out of place. I also liked the parings that you had as well.(Although I was a little suprised that you had Abby paired up with Lorne. BUT I'm not complaining as it worked.) In this regard that only thing that did disappoint me was the fact that there wasn't more of the Ducky/Woolsey relationship as I felt that it would have been interesting to see that develop. I also felt that even during the Sub/Dom parts you still kept the NCIS characters in character. They were still the characters that I have come to know and love thru watching the series. Thank you for that.
As I have read "The General and Dr Sheppard" and am a fan of NCIS it was good to see the references to the story and the show. (Although I do get the feeling that you if you hadn't seen NCIS or read the story you would still have enjoyed it.) For me this helped with the dynamic of the story and the way that events occurred in terms of finding out who had committed the crime and how they dealt with them. As well as the way that the characters acted and the thoughts behind their action. (And this applied even when you went in to personal stuff that i had not seen dealt with in the show!)
So you definitely have a fan not only of this story but of this Universe too. Thank you for sharing this and I hope to be able to find more stories from this universe.
