Oh, this was better than I could *ever* have imagined. The Gibbs/Tony interactions were perfect. Both of them are happy, each able to give the other what he needs and that giving is part of what they each need too. The way Gibbs took Tony down for the first time was just beautiful. I also loved the way Tony knew, on some level, that they had to deal with what Jordan had done and that he needed to watch the recording. Gibbs went along with it, which demonstrates considerable trust in Tony's judgement (even if Gibbs didn't realize this) and while they were watching together, Gibbs worked out that they did both need to do this together even though it was hard on them both, and why. Lovely. Ducky having his collar removed made me cry. I loved the idea of Tony leading Rodney astray *g* I wonder whether he'll try to lead Tim astray once they're all back in Washington *g* I think it's very clever of you to give Lorne and Abby, and Ducky and Woolsey, a way forward without trying to wrap everything up too quickly or too tidily. Life is never tidy. I'm sad it's over and I've read it all - there can be only one first time. However, I'm also glad it's finished and I can read it over and over again :-) It's wonderful.
