Another lovely, lovely chapter. Ducky completely won my heart. Reading the back story of what happened between him and his top was heartbreaking. I love that you have him say that they were madly in love to begin with because it brings home the fact that all abusive relationships start that way. Why would they start otherwise.
AND he's a switch, and him and Woolsey are going to play ::does kermit hands of delight:: I totally called that.
Oh and John being blocked and feeling wrong and a bad husband because of it makes me want to hug him. It really reminds me of a scene in G&DS when he said to Rodney that the universe they were stranded in was different and he didn't know how to protect Rodney there because the rules were all different. Now, the rules might be the same but John is different and he doesn't know how to deal with that.
