Author’s notes: This is my first ever vampire fic! I intended this to be a one-shot piece when I started it, but I embellished it rather more than I expected and got quite involved in my own mythology. I’m not sure I’ll do any more in this universe, but in case I do, I’m giving the series a name (“Allegiance of Blood”) and titling this as Book One. This story is complete of and by itself though.
