Well, you certainly make waking up at 3:00 in the morning worthwhile. This comment is for both chapters. First poor insecure, traumatized Rodney. His past (especially with Bates) could be a real barrier to a new relationship with John. I loved the beach scenes when Rodney was able to respond to John's obvious love and attraction, but I suspect there may still be rocky times ahead. Rodney's insecurities will not go away overnight, and you have hinted that he has had trouble with not only Bates, but possibly other members of the military. I was so glad he accepted John as his top here. I am looking forward to the rest of the courtship, especially since I know it works out for the best.
