I am American. *chuckle* In recent years I've had this irresistable urge to apologize for being born and raised here. I have a quote for my email sig line from a man named Garrison Keillor - "My ancestors were Puritans from England. They arrived here in 1648 in the hope of finding greater restrictions than were permissible under English law at that time."
