Oh, cool! Bates so had that beating coming and really, really happy that John found out what is going on. Somehow, I don't think that Bates will give in gracefully to the inevitable. I have the slight suspition that he will try to get John's men to mutinee.
The spanking scene was beautiful. I felt happy and sorry for them both at the same time. It was a revelation for John, who had been in denial until them, but I think that for Rodney it was significant too. It probably showed him what a good top could be, how a having one could help ground him. Yet, it probably depressed him more, because he had convinced himself he didn't need any top, and I believe that scene brought all those ideas down like a house of cards.
I can't wait for them to get together. Once more an excelent chapter, thanks for sharing!
