And a special big thank you goes to Bluespirit, Lillyjk, Iadorespike, Liresius and Flying North.

First, though I know that I squee'd to you in e-mail over this...oh my! I will never forget my shock and pleasure when I saw my name there. You are really something. I was honored at the time...now...having spent a great deal of time exploring the X-files fandom - I'm really honored! You are a legend in your own time! OH MY...Xanthe!

Now...this was a better end to this piece of the GADS 'verse than I could have ever hoped for. I don't know how many times I've read it...seriously - I don't. But each time I fall more and more in love with John and Rodney, and I'm struck by how perfectly John is handling Rodney. It's for life, after all. I want to quote lines...but I'd just have to quote it all. I can't resist this, though...Rodney waking up the 'morning after'...

"Hey," Rodney replied lazily, and for a moment John braced himself, half expecting to see an expression of shock in Rodney's eyes as he realised what they'd done the previous night but the expression never materialised. Instead, Rodney gave a shy little smile – yet another expression John would never have expected to see on Rodney's usually guarded face.

*dies* That "shy little smile" - killed me dead...*nods*. I love that when Rodney finally accepts - he has accepted completely. It's a lovely compliance.

I'm just so extremely happy that you're going to continue to play in the GADS universe (hopefully forever!). It would be criminal, as good as this fic is, to leave it at that. Thank-you so much, Xanthe, for sharing your amazing talent with all of us. Thank-you, too, for the beginnings of (what I know will be) a long and wonderful friendship.

Anna *hugs you tight*
