I'm so glad I stayed up late enough to read this tonight. I've loved this story since the beginning ... I think you did an incredible job creating a believable AU and dealing with such touchy subject matter. I love how you made our potential squicks the same ones that Rodney (and the other Atlantis folks) were dealing with, and how those gradually gave way to reveal the trusting and loving relationship that Gen. and Dr. Sheppard shared. I loved multiple Rodneys (when we got up to three I was utterly gleeful). But most of all, I love that our Rodney and John finally found each other. You didn't take it where I was afraid you would, with them adopting all the habits of the other world. Instead you made Rodney's submission gradual and very realistic, with the possibility of deepening that in the future as their trust and love grows. Fantastic character development, wonderful treatment of the subject matter, and just an all around great read! Thank you!
