I actually looked up the meaning of Darsha (and Darshna) and knew it was something quite nice (most names are though! Nobody wants to call their child a name that means "death" or "loneliness" or anything! LOL!). I also looked up Shanti which means "peace" - although I'm not sure it would have mattered what it meant as it was just the name in my head that she had to have and that was it. I originally called Darsha "Dasha" but that felt a bit too much like "dashing" and I wanted a slightly harsher feel to the name.
