Love the way Tony and Gibbs are so smart about solving crime and so dumb about each other. And what a stroke of genius to bring Jackson to tend to Tony after the plague! That was a really nice way to fit Jackson back into the story without waiting for the case in Stillwater (which was so contrived, even if it was fun).
The daemons continue to be really fun. Goat for Kate and squirrel for McGee are perfect fits. I'm thinking scorpion or snake for Ziva, something that is quiet, threatening and indigenous to Israel. I continue to like the way you use the daemons to explore deeper relationships. For example, having Tony take his cue about the Gibbs-Fornell relationship from the way their daemons interacted.
Well, it's time for Tony to use that psychic Gibbs-sense to save the day! Thanks again for writing this terrific story, can't wait to read the final chapters in a few hours.
