Ah - happy to surprise you! In fact I surprised myself as this time yesterday I had no idea I'd be writing this *g*.
I would love to be one of NCIS's writers. I used to think I couldn't do it but judging by what they give us these days I could totally do it.
And I so agree with you. I'd never, ever make light of what Gibbs went through - and in this Tony doesn't, either. But Gibbs needs to hear that what he does affects the people in his life who love him - and after 20 years he's got to find a way of moving past this. He's always been more than this but the more they keep dwelling on it and rehashing it and opening old wounds and generally messing around with it, the less the true angst of Shannon and Kelly's deaths are felt by the audience, sadly.
