Well apparently it told them all kinds of things - based on ONE or at most two stories in the same universe. None of them seemed to have read any of my other stories - and when you consider how vast my oeuvre is, if they'd only read some of the vanilla ones they'd have a completely different view on me.
But no, I was a "witch", I had an agenda, I feminised my subs (Rodney has longer hair in the first one because I'd seen DH in Boa Vs Python and liked the look but no, this was taken as a vast generalised liking for feminised subs in particular (IE I saw being submissive as being female). I was against group marriage (WTF? Based on the lifebond being between two people!), I was anti-feminist (HAH! If only they knew the truth of that one!). I was a terrible writer (obviously, as they hated the universe/stories so much) and I was totally in favour of a BDSM universe and thought it was much better than ours. I believe my entire knowledge of BDSM came from sitting on the top of a bus and passing by a house where BDSM sex was being had or some such - IE I had no direct experience of it (ROFL!). When I politely declined to answer an impertinent question on what my BDSM experience was (because really, how is this anyone's business but mine and when do we ask any fanfic writer for their sexual credentials when reading their fics?!) - that was when I was called a "witch".
I was accused of practising unsafe BDSM sex (which seems to go against the whole top of the bus thing but whatever). And that last makes me ROFL too. Seriously, they know NOTHING about me, and if they did they'd realise how utterly ludicrous that suggestion is.
They won't know anything from reading my fics beyond what you said here about having an interest in spanking (but look at how many of my fics don't feature that at all!), and finding certain TV characters hot.
