Re your question - I wrote Gibbs having two fathers in HiPS. I mean, it wouldn't be fitting with canon as everyone in our universe has a father and mother, biologically speaking at least *g*, so I've always played around with that. I gave Tim two mothers :-). Also, I did write HiPS before "Heartland" aired.
