Yep. I'm thinking a toppy admiral's subby son is killed at his coming out ball (still trying to slide that idea into her head, y'know ;-). Was it a jealous suitor? A jealous competitor? Is the admiral secretly disappointed to not have a toppy son, the first sub in a long line of tops? Is there something else?
