First of all, that ending was awesome! I loved it!
OK...I really loved the whole story. Tony started off as a lost boy and he was reeled in by Gibbs, someone he loved from afar.
Even though this is in an alternative universe, you wrote all the charterers as they were on the tv show...that is pure talent!
I loved it when Tony floated, and went rambling - it made me smile and laugh.
I hated it when Tony didn't really lose himself to Gibbs, to trust him with his secrets. Instead Gibbs had to find out another way.
But I could understand where Tony was coming from. It was like I was inside his head, when he began to tell Gibbs about his father and his mother's accident. It was terrifying. You wrote that very well - made me zoom on Tony's demons, and me hoping that Gibbs will be able to help him face his demons.
Abby was a great addition to the story. She is one of my fave characters on the show, along with Tony and Gibbs. It was prefect for Tony to have Abby as his best friend. (that's the way I see it in this story) It was really good that Abby was in an accident (not so good, obviously) but it was a good way for Tony to start to face his demons, and for Gibbs to realize. It also showed us how much Tony loved Abby, and that he really does cherish Abby - in a friend-like way!
The confrontation with Tony's father was great! I loved it when Tony used the safeword after his father asked about that cop show...that was brilliant. I knew that somehow it wasn't Tony's fault that his mom died in the accident. Tony's father was a bastard for letting him thinking that all his life.
The roleplay with Tony in uniform was great! I loved it...and I laughed so hard when Tony finally slipped up - he should know better that Gibbs will win!!
I could understand why Gibbs wasn't too comfortable with spanking Tony after what happened, because of punishment issues, but I was glad to see Tony being patient. Now, if this happened at the start, he won't be as patient as he would be at the end!
And, wow, the ending - that was brilliant! I'm glad that Gibbs came to the party, and in that purple shirt - I wish I could see him fully..but I can just about mentally image it! The lovely spanking at the end was a great way to end the whole story.
It shows that Tony finally surrenders himself to Gibbs, and that Gibbs is starting to get comfortable with spankings etc.
Will there be a sequel?? Pretty please! (wow, that was a long review I ever had to write!!) Thank you for writing such an awesome series. I loved it!
*warning - this is going to be a length review!*
