To me the best kind of stories are those that prompt realisations about myself. I don't think there are many other authors who have done it as often as you have, and this chapter was another one I am profoundly glad to have read. Thank you very much for writing it!
I am so glad for Tony's sake that Gibbs was able to show him that he is loveable for himself, not just for what he can do in bed. And I loved Ziva's practical approach to offering support. Now I'm very curious about Tony's father's reaction. I can't help thinking that Tony should at least temporarily get mad at him, too. It's understandable that he's making excuses for him, but really Tony would be more than within his rights to be angry. (Either way, I suspect Gibbs is angry enough for both of them.)
