Hi Xanthe,
I finally read Ten years on. I started reading it once but stopped cos I couldn't grasp the idea that Tony was married to Abby, is now with Gibbs, Tim still loving Abby and that he thought Tony hooked up with Ziva. It was a little too much mass orgy team love for my taste. There're loads of stories out there that are all sunshine and daisies because Team Awesome is one happy family and eveybody is with everybody and has loads of babies and blahblahblah. You know what I mean? I usually try to forgo stories like that. BUT yesterday I thought: Why the hell not? It's Xanthe Queen of Awesome Writing. ;)

I loved it. Probably like all your stories because you write an intersting, serious plot with real developments and changes for and of the characters and a happy end because they derseve it. Gibbs selflessness and understanding for Tony was perfectly in character because he knows Tony is burning and Gibbs understands that its not his vendetta even though we know how much he wants to kill the bastard that killed Abby.
Your McGee was great and his nostalgia was touching. I especially liked the scenes between Tony and McGee because you grasped that differences between them and yet their loyalty.
This story is just a wonderful mix of major angst and crime flavoured with love and humour. I loved Louis line: "Boss always cheats." and I cracked up as Tony explained to McGee that he and Gibbs are sharing a bed.

End of my short review.
So long
Jules
