I think what I liked best about this was the difference in the dynamics of each pair. They each had a unigue style that worked for them. As little as I've seen of NCIS and Gibbs I could easily see his character in this setting. He does come across as very toppy and I think you spoiled me. I can't watch it now without thinking about him in your universe. Not that that is a bad thing.
